Storytelling at athletes’ speed


Following the success of their lifestyle wearables, Meta decided to take a leap into athletes’ sneakers via their new partnership with Oakley. They needed a content system that could move at the pace of sports culture: capturing and publishing before the clock zeroes while maintaining a high standard for creative fidelity. As the account lead and a “full-stack strategist,” I took charge of a full spectrum of activities, from strategic concepting and ground-level production to the editing and reporting that followed.

  • Direct end-to-end account operations, acting as the primary client point-of-contact and overseeing the full project lifecycle, including contracting, account and project management, creative ideation, production, editing, and reporting

  • Lead development of creative concepts for video production, including for live-events and coordinated shoots, and consolidated creative team’s output into a unified vision for each new project

  • Source, negotiate with, and direct talent, videographers, and editors for all content, including collaborating with partner talent and production agencies, ensuring timeliness for all elements of the project and maintaining flow of information for all production personnel

  • Produce all content as on-the-ground lead at on-location shoots in New York City, Washington D.C., Palo Alto, and San Francisco, maintaining schedules, props, locations, and other logistical details to ensure a streamlined creative vision

  • Edit key deliverables, including clip sourcing, editing, color grading, and audio selection to ensure assets matched strategic vision

  • Own reporting and analytics for account, developing detailed metrics report for all live pieces of content after each event to inform future productions

  • Manage project budget alongside operations lead

  • Star in running-centic channel content as needed
