Art, Craft, and Design

While my professional career has focused on the strategic and verbal elements of creativity, I use my free time for visual, tangible work. I’ve been doodling on just about every surface for as long as I can remember, I can’t go a week without using my sewing machine, I’m in love with my film cameras, and my digital design and screenprinting projects allow me to plaster my work everywhere. I’m always looking for new ways to craft ☺

Here’s some of my favorite work:

Happy Bear Apparel

Started in a high school classroom, now a (very) small business! I first began to sell my screenprinted designs in college, with an original design depicting hands signing "L-O-V-E" in ASL. Since then, I’ve sold 300+ handmade, affordable tees, sweatshirts, and tote bags with a variety of my own designs (see the full catalogue here ->). What’s next? Keep an eye out for a dedicated Instagram account and a flea market pop-up!

Grammable Art

Since 2019, I’ve used @ryanw.art as an ongoing log of what I’ve been up to, side-project-wise — from the doodles I began with to the sartorial creativity I’ve been into more recently.

Film Photography

I’ve been dabbling in photography more recently, primarily with 35mm color film. In May 2025, I bought my first SLR, and I’m excited to keep on rolling. Here are some of my favorite shots:
